God is good. We are both humbled and excited to announce that the CMA Standards Council has accredited its first three Foundation Partners from its ongoing Pilot Program, namely TEAR Australia, Anglican Aid and FEBC Australia. Each organisation has met all of the CMA Standards Council Principles and Standards of good governance, transparency and accountability.
The Standards Council’s Executive Director, Steve Kerr, said “We are delighted to be able to recognise each of TEAR Australia, Anglican Aid and FEBC Australia for their commitment to and practice of good governance. Accreditation independently verifies the building blocks for trustworthy Christian organisations. Our congratulations to them as leaders in the area of responsible governance."
TEAR Australia, Anglican Aid and FEBC Australia will be presented with their Accreditation Certificates at the CMA Conference in June. In the meantime, the Standards Council’s Pilot Program continues, with the expectation that it will be completed later this year.
